DIGGING OF DUCTS FOR WASTEWATER HAS STARTED

Residents of the village of Mramor and Mramor Citizes Council, indicate for a longer period of time to the unresolved problem of utility infrastructure to the relevant public services and enterprises. In some parts of the village, due to the lack of sewers and sewage, there are frequent flooding and destruction of homes. At the initiative of the president of Municipality Boban Džunić we have analyzed certain financial capacity of the current situation on the field. "The problems of the villagers of Mramor are known and we have started to deal with them today. The problem with the drainage canal, according to the residents, is dated fifteen or twenty years ago. A few months ago, I and my associates came here. We saw what the problem is, we were talking with people in the building sector. Now we have found the ability and provided funds for further investment, says Boban Džunić , president of municipality of Palilula.
Zoran Djordjevic, president of the Citizens Council of Mramor, reminded us that this is The area threatened by landslides. All the water that runs down the hill is passing along this street. And then there is the wastewater. "The rain falls, the channel is filled and it is pouring water, says Zoran. In winter, the ice is formed and becomes impassable. Houses have not been flooded but all the yards that are located in this street are flooded and therefore under moisture. Now the channel is lined with concrete, and shall be governed by the Morava River drainage.
After atmospheric precipitation water is flowing in open landslides, filling the septic tanks and then there is a flood of settlement. It is very dangerous to human health, especially children who play here. Behind us is a branch of the elementary school "Desanka Maksimovic" - says the mayor of Džunić. The children are constantly moving and in contact with wastewater. That's why we have reached an agreement with the people who today already treat our initiative. I expect that this sewer will be completed in five days.
Palilula the most populated one of the largest urban municipalities in Niš, but the living standard of the population is at the very bottom in Serbia . Municipal President Boban Džunić from the moment of arrival to the presidency, with his associates, has clear directions for the development and set out to solve the key problems of the residents of Palilula. Water supply and sewerage system, road infrastructure, transport of people, care for the elderly , improving agricultural productivity are just some of the activities that the President Džunić initiated and participated in the resolution together with the Citizens Councils.
